Sequel to the hit classic game finally has a date
Mossmouth dropped into today’s PlayStation State of Play to reveal a few new tidbits about Spelunky 2.
The game will feature online multiplayer, and through runs to unlock characters and levels, players will be able to build up a community and form bonds with other players. An updated shop system and new characters, as well as a more dynamic world, will expand the game over the original.
But, the real big news was the release date: Spelunky 2 will arrive September 15th on PlayStation 4.
