The genre continues to be brutally cool with the new game from OverBorder Studio
I’m slowly becoming a sucker for Souls-like games, with Mortal Shell being our latest obsession. And while it’s a genre getting increasingly crowded over time, there’s a new kid on the block that may turn a few heads. Thymesia, from OverBorder Studio, takes the Action RPG genre and throws a new element into the mix: the ability to capture diseases from enemies. By doing so, players will be able to use those diseases as attacks, sort of like Mega Man but with raging botulism as the weapon that can take out Bubble Man.
It looks dark and gritty, which may be a nice balance to all of this “Spring” stuff going on.
Thymesia is coming to PC later this year.
