Expect E3 levels of announcements from Sony
It’s finally happening. The third of the major platform holders (sorry, Intellivision!) has announced its biggest showcase in a long time. Sony’s PlayStation Showcase 2021 will take place next week, on Thursday, September 9th at 4PM Eastern/1PM Pacific time. The event will take place across all of its channels — YouTube, Twitch, and its Blog. Heck, it may even be on my Vita.
The company is mum on what will be shown, obviously, but expect big news from the platform holder and its studios. We haven’t had a PlayStation event this big (at least 40 minutes) in over a year, so we’re expecting to hear more about God of War: Ragnarok, Final Fantasy XVI, and perhaps even a couple of surprises for unannounced games releasing in 2021.
