Vampires are cool again, and still will be in September
The Blood of Dawnwalker, Rebel Wolves’ open world dark fantasy vampire RPG set in the 1300s, has been slowly but surely making its way up our hype ladder. The game hasn’t really shown much, just story vibes and some notes here and there, but now we have a full gosh darn look at a whole lot of it, including a release date.
The story trailer below details the world and characters that inhabit it, focusing on the story of a man on the hunt for the vampires that took his family. Medieval shit goes down, that’s for sure!
The gameplay will allow Coen, the hero, to use is dawnwalking vampiric powers during both night and day, with varying effects depending on whether the sun is shining or not. That’s an intriguing way to make sure that the game almost works in two worlds at once.
Bandai Namco is publishing the game, and it’ll release on PS5, Xbox Series and PC on September 3, 2026.
