Bathtub scenes are still okay in 1080p

The Witcher 3 originally launched in 2015 and it still looks great, even on the Switch. In fact, the newest generation of consoles and high end PCs have some nice tech, making the last gen product look even better. Well, if you want EVEN MORE fidelity, then you probably have your eyes on the upcoming, updated release for the PS5 and Xbox Series X generation!

But, it looks like you’ll have to wait longer. CD Projekt Red have delayed the originally planned Q2 release of the newest version for an undisclosed time, citing the need to bring development in-house to make sure it’s done to the highest degree.

So, while there’s no timeline given, it’s not like we’re in a drought of big games at the moment anyways. See you (hopefully) before Witcher 4, Geralt.
