I love being a turtle!
There’s a definite Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle renaissance happening right now. The heroes have been popping up in a bunch of different games as cameos, the comic has been revitalized, classic collections are happening all over, and now Shredder’s Revenge is going to take the vibe to new levels.
DotEmu, the developers behind the beat’em up, have revealed that not only are there a bunch of playable characters already, but Casey Jones is joining the fray as well. And, get this: they’re going the full ridiculous route and announcing 6-player co-op!
Yes, SIX PLAYERS! Whether it’s on couch co-op or online, up to 6 friends can take on arcade-inspired levels as they aim to beat up Shredder and the Foot Clan. J.J. noted just how awesome the game was in his hands-on preview at PAX East this year, and how he was EXTREMELY EXCITED FOR IT.
And maybe even the biggest news: THE GAME RELEASES NEXT WEEK!
We reckon that our full team maybe be taking a crack at the game when it launches June 16th for Switch, PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.

And, for those of us who have nothing better to do than throw money at the 80s heroes, Limited Run Games have announced a slew of special collector’s editions, capped off by the Radical Edition which includes everything from the game in a VHS pack to toys, a mini arcade cabinet, stickers, and more.
