And it’s coming earlier than Fall, guys!
Surprise! The Year of Kirby continues, and Nintendo wants you to completely forget about the previous Kirby release by announcing a brand new one. It was just a few months ago that the most excellent Forgotten Land reached our collective mind and our mass of Switches, and now we’re just supposed to push it aside.
Well, after the announcement trailer… we actually might?
Well, maybe, we might be even more interested to jump into the Kirbyverse. Nintendo revealed that its oft-rumored eShop game was a reality. Kirby’s Dream Buffet takes the pink marshmallow in a 4-player online spin on the Fall Guys formula, running through obstacle courses and collecting delicious items to gain as much weight as possible. The heaviest Kirby at the end wins — the race, and our affection.
And, heck, Kirby can become a waffle, so that’s already pretty amazing.
