The Turrican Anthologies bring together some terrific games in the action shooter series that still hold up well both visually and gameplay-wise.
WIth precise platforming and modern controls coming together, these two volumes manage to retain the classic games’ action without big changes to the experience. The updates to the visual and audio fidelity (and nice borders!) make these good ports for fans of the series and those that may have missed them in the 80s & 90s.
There aren’t a lot of extra historic goodies packaged in, but J.J. explains that with these packages you may be fine with just the games themselves.
