It’s a BEAR that does COCAINE!
Happy Trailer Thursday! It feels like out of the blue (and thanks to the Brazil comic con) this week has brought us some great first trailers for upcoming films that we’re geeked about. Up top you’ll see the first video for Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3. The clip shows the team on its path to save the world(s), ultimately realizing they’re tired. Is this the end of the Guardians? Are they about to retire? Did they party too hard in the awesome Holiday Special on Disney+? The film arrives May 2, 2023 to theaters.
Indiana Jones makes his triumphant and final return to screens in the upcoming movie, and now we have our first look! The Dial of Destiny is the title of the fifth film, set some time after Indy’s own retirement from tomb raiding. The movie arrives June 30th.
It’s been a while, but the next Transformers film is on the way. Set in the Beast Wars mythos, the film picks up at some point in the Transformers film universe (who knows, and who cares when!) as the greatest threat is on the way to Earth — and only the Autobots can save the planet. Optimus Primal! Cheetor! Airazor! All your favorites will make an appearance in Transformers: Rise of the Beasts in June 2023.
I had to do a double-take to make sure this wasn’t a Super Troopers spin-off. Cocaine Bear is an actual movie based on an actual true story about animals who got high during drug trafficking gone wrong. While the CGI is kind of not perfect, the stellar cast and wild moments in this trailer alone will force me to get to the theater when the film hits on February 24.
