This time, it’s scary!
Amid remakes, prequels, VR versions, movies and more, Until Dawn has remained a PlayStation mainstay. The series’ choice-based game mechanisms have influenced adventure and horror games since it launched in 2015, and continue today.
So, it’s natural that we’re FINALLY getting a sequel. Announced today during PlayStation’s State of Play, Until Dawn 2 will follow a group of teens as they aim for viral hits on social media. These novice ghost hunters will obviously be okay. Right? RIGHT?

Series’ creators Supermassive Games isn’t at the helm this time, as Until Dawn 2 is being developed by Firesprite exclusively for PlayStation 5, launching in 2027.
