Thrashlevania album draws metal inspiration from Konami’s classic series

Just in time for Halloween, Materia Collective is dropping us an album of Castlevania-inspired metal.

The album is a bit performance art, timed to the 15-minute speedruns of gamer/performer Louie Aronowitz. While it may be too fast for those of us who aren’t quite up to snuff, it could be worth a listen while playing along with the game on the NES Classic.

Consider it an homage to the game’s original composer, Kinuyo Yamashita, but faster. Way, way faster.
