Revealed at Star Wars Celebration
At this week’s Star Wars Celebration 2022, Electronic Arts officially revealed their next Star Wars project, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.
Developed by Respawn, the game will pick up after the events of Jedi: Fallen Order and continue the adventures of Cal Kestis and his droid companion BD-1. It’s unknown if the rest of Cal’s crew is still around, or if the fate of the galaxy has taken a turn for the worse (spoiler: it probably has!) but that will surely be revealed over the next several months.
The teaser doesn’t explain too much beyond the game’s title and main character, and it doesn’t tell us what platforms it will be on (likely to focus solely on the PS5/Xbox Series generation of consoles) but we do know one thing: a date. The title is currently planned for a 2023 release.
