Ramen the Smash Ball into her foes’ faces

The next Super Smash Bros Ultimate fighter is Min Min from ARMS. First announced as an ARMS fighter waaaay back in March, today Producer Masahiro Sakurai revealed the actual character.

As in ARMS, players can control the two arms of the fighter separately, with A controlling the left arm and B the right arm instead of a typical Special, and at different curvatures. In fact, the fighter can launch both arms at once, and at either side, for a wide attack field.

Min Min excels at long range and ground attacks, but has weakness against attacks from the air or up close.

Thankfully these weaknesses can be balanced. Pressing Down B will change the right arm between three weapons: the Ramram ring, which has a long attack and spins, the Megawatt, which can charge up and hit with force enough to KO enemies in certain situations, and the Dragon, which is identical to the left arm. She can even use kicks and slides, depending on how long players tap the A button.

Min Min’s Final Smash has the entire cast of ARMS fighters jumping in with a plethora of punches.

As with all fighters, Min Min gets her own arena. Spring Stadium comes into play here, and has bounce panels on its sides and off top that add damage based on how foes land on it. Also, 18 songs will be added to the rotation as well.

Min Min will arrive on June 29.
